Adverse Possession

If you want to bring forward a claim for adverse possession, or oppositely, want to challenge a claim of such, we invite you to contact our property lawyers who have an extensive expertise in this niche of property law. Adverse Possession occurs when someone occupies land, with which belongs to someone else, without permission to do so. There are legal requirements, such as Schedule 6, paragraph 1(1) of the Land Registration Act 2002, which have been established to assess whether a claim for adverse possession is valid and therefore viable.
