Co-ownership

A property which is owned by two or more individuals, is co-owned. The arrangement of the co-ownership can exist only in one of two forms: either as a Joint Tenancy or a Tenancy in Common. A myriad of disputes may arise regarding such arrangements, such as the rights of each co-owner, the extent of respective shares and disagreements regarding the sale of the property. Chambers has a wealth of experience in significant co-ownership disputes and can offer advice and representation on any aspect of co-ownership issues.
